Cooker hood fan repair

When our cooker hood fan stopped working (well it is over a decade old), I dreaded the cost of having to buy a new cooker hood. So I decided to have a go at replacing the fan and cleaning up the rest of the cooker hood at the same time. It saved me hundreds of pounds and hopefully it will now last me at least another decade. You can see from the 'before' photos just what a mess it was from when it had originally been installed. Now I know it's been done properly, works properly and looks so smart too (as you can see from the two 'after' photos).
