After being given a knackered dog shed that was being used as a wood shed I created a chicken house for our rescue battery chickens. I created a function internal door to separate the chickens from their bedding and feed supplies as well as a nest box for each chicken, a sliding door and an external motion activated light. After years of neglect the floor was all rotten so I have to put new 2x4’s in and a new floor which is holding strong. It works a treat and the hens love having ample space to sleep in when they’re not outside. The cost was reduced and I made the nest boxes of MDF
