We moved in to our house and basically needed to make tbe fireplace more regulation friendly. We replaced the broken tiles on the floor. Took the beam off and fitted another one to match regs, during which time we added a lintel into the wall. And then added some bricks/ lighting for decoration. One of many projects ticked off the list
