From scrap to shutters!

I took apart an old pallet that I picked up from a lay by where it had been fly tipped and was so excited to bring it home! I watched some videos on YouTube and got some hinges online and spent a week measuring, cutting, gluing and screwing it together to make my new favourite thing in my home! Tiny window shutters! I’m so proud of myself because I am a disabled mum of 4 and DIY can be a bit scary but I’m so glad I tried because I love how they look now! They aren’t perfect but that makes them perfect to me!
