Because I’ve been working to a budget and I hate waste, I spotted this table in a skip and rescued it. I saw it’s potential despite having its flaws. Now takes pride of place in my kitchen/dining room. Sanded back, several coats of oak stain, sealed with a satin varnish. The pedestal painted with a colour to compliment the colour of my kitchen cupboards then edged with an antique gold paint! As you can see, it now suits the area completely and adds to the whole look :)
