Taking the Chair!

We were given a dining chair for free but it had a sticky, yucky vinyl backing and was very dark. We wanted something brighter and not so sticky so we cleaned the vinyl with hot soapy water, brightening and freshening it, and then sanded the wood, and stained it with light stain. It is now a very good match for our computer desk, which we absolutely refused to have a swivel chair on as it is situated in our livingroom and we wanted it to blend in with our decor, which, I think you will agree, it does.
